Perennial, 15–30 cm height, ornamental flowers. Flowers are 3–5 cm in diameter, bright, bi-colour and monochrome, primrose carpets are very attractive under sparse trees, low fruit trees. Good for rock gardens, pots. Planted in clusters in flower beds. Grow well in light, not dry, humus rich soil. Primroses can grow from 2 to 10 years in the same place.
